Season ten of Family Guy still follows the Griffin family residing in Quahog, consisting of father Peter, mother Lois and their children Meg, Chris, Stewie and Brian. The season is produced by a total of seven producers. In the first episode of this season, the family wins the lottery. A storm hits the family’s hometown and Meg freaks out that the family has taken too many jabs at her. Brian has trouble sobering up the after he devours magic mushrooms to pass the time. Quagmire employs the help of Joe and Peter, in order to kill the abusive boyfriend of his sister. Carter, Lois’s father falls asleep while driving the family realizes that he is getting close to the retirement age. They decide to visit retirement homes in the Florida area.

Lois cooks a tremendously large Thanksgiving dinner. Meanwhile, Kevin Swanson returns suddenly, after he was presumed to have died in Iraq. In an attempt to change history, Stewie and Brian go back to the first episode of the show and change history again. Taking a stand against their wives; Peter and the guys decide to go for a road trip to the Deep South. While on the way there, they earn themselves a ticket to jail. However, they decide to take a run for it, and when Peter’s seductive ways are combined with Joe’s quick planning, the men manage to escape. In the meantime, Lois and the girls spend some quality time together, and they engage in childish antics.

When actor Ryan Reynolds arrives in Quahog, he befriends Peter. Stewie also gets into trouble when he takes Brian’s car for a drive and crashes it. Peter also befriends a dolphin, who is voiced by Ricky Gervais. Meg falls in love with an Amish boy.
