Family Guy is an animated TV series of Fox Broadcasting Company which is created by Seth MacFarlane. The show revolves around the life of a family called the Griffins.

The dysfunctional family Griffins lives in a fictional city called Quahog, Rhode Island. The family is composed of Peter and Lois as the parents, Meg, Chris and Stewie as the children. Also part of the family is their anthropomorphic dog named Brian.

The four main characters namely Peter Griffin, Brian Griffinm, Stewie Griffin and Glen Quagmire are all being voiced over by Seth MacFarlane. Voicing over four different characters is a personal choice of MacFarlane. He thinks that it would be easier if he would be the one to portray the roles of the characters he had already envisioned. For him, he will get the right result he would want for his characters.

The voice of Peter is inspired by a security guard in Rhode Island School of Designs. Stewie’s voice is inspired by the voice of actor Rex Harrison for his performance in a musical drama film entitled My Fair Lady. With Brian, MacFarlane uses his regular voice. Aside from these characters, MacFarlane also does voice over of other guest characters in the show.

Alex Borstein dubs for Lois Griffin and Seth Green voices Chris Griffin and Neil Goldman. Meg Griffin is voiced over by Mila Kunis and Lacey Chabert.
